Built on Real Production Experience

Palm Beach Radio began as an internet radio company on August 28, 2009, broadcasting original programming focused on local business, music, arts, and culture from downtown West Palm Beach.

Long before modern podcast tools existed, we were already producing shows, managing guests, running live broadcasts, and publishing content consistently for a real audience.

That early foundation naturally evolved into what is now modern podcast production.

From Streaming to Podcast Production

In 2015, Palm Beach Radio expanded into streaming production and multi-platform distribution — a direct precursor to modern podcast workflows.

We produced and supported a wide range of programming including:

• interviews with local leaders and business owners
• legal and political discussions
• comedy and talk programming
• live DJ broadcasts
• entertainment and culture content

That era built what many podcasters lack today: real production experience under pressure — managing planning, deadlines, technical complexity, and consistency over time.

Today, Palm Beach Radio brings that same discipline into podcast production.

Producer-Led Podcasting

Many podcasts start with motivation and good ideas. Most stall because there’s no system behind the scenes.

Palm Beach Radio is built around a simple belief: podcasting works best when it’s treated as a production discipline, not a side project.

Producer-led means:

• shows are structured intentionally
• workflows stay repeatable and sustainable
• audio quality remains consistent
• publishing stays reliable
• hosts stay supported, not overwhelmed

This is what allows podcasts to last, grow, and build real authority.

About Travis Dempsey

I’m Travis Dempsey — audio producer, engineer, and educator.

I began producing podcasts in 2006, back when publishing required hand-coding RSS feeds and manually submitting shows to early platforms. That experience shaped how I approach production today: systems, workflows, consistency, and long-term sustainability.

Palm Beach Radio exists so clients don’t have to figure production out alone.

Honoring T. Michael Cappuccio (“12”)

Palm Beach Radio was co-founded with my longtime friend and creative partner, T. Michael Cappuccio — known to many simply as “12.”

Michael originally launched PalmBeach.TV and was not only a media creator but also a technology builder — a true pioneer in digital broadcasting and cloud-based web and app development. He had a rare ability to see where media was going long before most people understood the shift.

Michael passed away in December 2019, but his influence continues to shape Palm Beach Radio and the broader West Palm Beach creative community.

This relaunch is personal. It continues what we started together and honors the creativity, energy, and forward-thinking spirit he brought to everything he built.

Why Palm Beach Radio Exists Today

Podcasting has matured. The opportunity is bigger than ever — but so is the competition.

The podcasts that succeed long term are built on:

• Production discipline
• Consistent publishing
• Professional standards
• Clear positioning
• Sustainable workflows

That’s what Palm Beach Radio is designed to support.
